Saturday April 16, 2011 a most warm intimate evening was had at Eddie’s Attic in Downtown Decatur, GA with Gareth Asher & The Earthlings. This cool, talented trio rocks the house with Josh Huff on strat, Emily Kate Boyd on bass, and Gareth Asher on acoustic guitar and lead vocals. This trio comes off with a tight but yet tender pocket that grooves effortlessly through the set. On top of their effortless groove is a blanket of harmonies that goes down like full bodied wine. Gareth leads with vocals that are like fuzzy satin on a pillow. It’s easy to get lost floating down this gentle river while friends Nicki Thrailkill and Nic Cowan pay a visit to the set here and there melding with the same ease and warmth as the Earthlings.
